At Princess Life, we pride ourselves in being a magically immersive and interactive experience for young audiences. We travel to you and perform at your home, festival, school, or camp! We offer the most affordable character experience in the GTA as part of our mission to bring theatrical magic to all kids and families.
Our mission is not only to share magical moments with your children but also to reinforce core values, such as bravery and kindness. We combine a character entertainment company with professional theatre by portraying beloved and established characters as modern-day role models.
Princess Life Theatre
Born as a sister production to Pirate Life Theatre, Princess Life offers an entirely immersive event where anyone can be anything they ever wished to be: princess, pirate, ogre, fairy, hero, or mermaid. During our show, creating an extraordinary adventure is our goal and the only limit is your imagination. We make it an extra special experience for you and your guests by bridging our magical world and your world through a series of performances, enchanting games and challenges that will bring out your inner hero or heroine. Meet The Team
Emma, Sophi and Joy first met while performing at Pirate Life. They noticed the desire of their young audiences to have more characters that would enrich the Pirate Life universe and decided to take the leap to create a brand-new production with new characters and experiences.
Joy was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and now resides in Toronto. She graduated from Florida State University with a double major in Theater and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. Since she was a little girl, she would beg her mother to have the princesses she loved come visit her on her birthday every year. Now in collaboration with Sophi and Emma-Lee, she turned her passion for performance and princesses into Princess Life Theatre and her inner child is ecstatic! While in Canada she’s also worked with Little Jingle Beans Inc. and Jestr Events.
Emma is a French Canadian producer who is passionate about creating accessible and enjoyable entertainment for all. She graduated from the University of Ottawa with a BFA in Acting, and has since focused on growing arts organizations. She is a Co-Founder of Princess Life Theatre and the General Manager of Pirate Life Theatre in Barrie, Hamilton, Ottawa & Toronto.
Sophi is a multidisciplinary theatre artist now residing in Toronto. She holds a BFA in Theatre from the University of Victoria, and originally hails from Calgary AB. Sophi works primarily as an actor, stage manager, and drama instructor, mostly in theatre for young audiences and improvised work. Sophi has worked with lots of different companies around Toronto, including YPT, Theatre Direct, Shakespeare in Action, Canadian Stage, and The Second City.
